Our Commitment
TintMix Paint Lab is designed to be a private, offline-first tool for your paint projects. We believe that personal project data belongs only to you. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information.
No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There are no accounts, no logins, no email registration, and no device identifiers. The app does not ask for your name, contact details, or location.
On-Device Storage Only
All your projects, room measurements, color recipes, swatches, and settings are stored solely on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising
The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking, crash reporters, or advertising frameworks. We do not use any software that collects usage habits for marketing or profiling. There are no cookies and no web beacons.
What We Do Use
We use only local system APIs for photo color sampling, on-device databases for coverage and colorant tables, and the system PDF generator for export. None of these communicate with external services unless you explicitly choose to share a file (e.g., via the iOS share sheet). When you share, you are in control of where the file goes, and your original data remains on-device.
Photos
When you pull a color from a photo, the image is processed entirely on your device. The app only accesses the photo you explicitly select and does not upload it anywhere. We do not have access to your photo library.
Your Control & Rights
Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our servers. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app from your device. To back up your projects, use the system backup (iCloud or local) — but even then, the backup is controlled by Apple and not visible to us.
